Thanks to all of you! As the new owners of Kwa-Mbili, Neil and I have been extremely busy with upgrading the lodge. Since we've arrived here at the beginning of March 2006, we have re-landscaped the areas around the pool, lapa and entrance! Thanks to Paul & Sue Easton of KeenGro in Johannesburg. Paul planned and executed a magnificent task. The new water features are fantastic (we installed four). They give off a tranquil sound and have been enjoyed by not only our guests, but also lots of local birds, such as Black Headed Orioles, Black-Eyed Bulbuls and Blue Waxbills. Also, we've just finished re-painting the Chalets and the lapa. Next is redecorating....we're working to improve the lodge every day! ~Mel |
